What is the history of the Bible?

My friend and I are in a debate about the history of the Bible, Catholicism, and the Reformation…and sadly, I have very limited information to go off of Could anyone please give me an exact history, with dates and people, of the bible, the Catholic church, and especially what happened with the Reformation and Martin Luther? I’ve been looking, but I can’t find a lot of information on it for some reason. Thanks guys
