What is the most important day in the church year

Good call, Joy. Maundy Thursday is one of my favourite liturgical events of the year.

I would say this order, in the eastern Catholic view, the Feasts of the Lord:
  1. Easter (Pascha)
  2. Christmas (Nativity) (Dec. 25)
  3. Theophany (Jan. 6th)
  4. Transfiguration (Aug. 6th)
  5. Palm (or Flowery) Sunday (Sunday before Pascha)
  6. Ascension (40th day after Pascha)
  7. Pentecost (50th day after Pascha)
  8. Elevation of the Cross (Sept. 14th)
 
The Immaculate Conception came first.

I checked Ordo and it has the following for the first two of importance in the table of content:

1 Easter triduum (The liturgy takes place over three days.)

2 Christmas Day, Epifania, Ascension Day, Pentecost.
Sundays in Advent, Lent and Easter seasons.
Ash Wednesday.
Monday-Thursday in the week leading up to Easter.
Weekdays in the Easter Octave.

#13 ends with weekdays during the Ordinary time.

A little bit to much to write. Check the Ordo of your diocese if you are interested.

Perhaps at the bottom but still important. One thing about these is that the Church is near empty and it’s laid back and peaceful.
 
Easter is not simply one feast among others, but the “Feast of feasts,” the “Solemnity of solemnities” (CCC)

I recall seeing in an old Baltimore Catechism that the two greatest feasts are Easter and Pentecost.
