The norm is standing in the hand but The Church perfers Kneeling on the Tongue.

Kneeling on the Tongue is a far more revent way of receiving Our Lord in Holy Communion and protects the Eucharist form being taken out the parish.

Okay, how come everyone else gets away with what, to me are random acronyms, and I get called! 🙂

LEM lay eucharistic minister. I’ve been considering suggesting a UNA (use no acronyms) to the mods - don’ t make me do it! 🤔🤔🤔
Sorry I thought the same thing. LEM → Lunar Excursion Module. There is no such things as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Only Priests and Bishops are Eucharistic Ministers. Lay Ministers of Holy Communion perhaps, but ministers of Holy Communion only distribute where as Eucharistic Minister confect the Eucharist. Not trying to be pedantic, but there is a huge difference between the two and sloppy language leads to sloppy theology.
