What is the origin of the name Easter?

I am a Catholic school teacher and my students wanted the origin of the name Easter for the Resurrection Day. When I googled it, I only got answers from non Catholic sites that tried to state that it is from a pagan beginning and that the Devil has gotten his hold in the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord through its name being after a false godess with pagan symblos of bunnies and eggs for fertility. Can you clarify for me what the Catholic Church teaches about the use of the name Easter for the Resurrection Day? Thank you!
