What is the Pillar and Bulwark of the Truth?

Pillar: Main Support
Bulwark: Defensive wall, defense, protection
Truth: As Christ said to Pilate, “I am Truth” and in this context it is Truth with regard to His Holy Teaching.
 
Everyone thinks it is the Church? Not the Bible, the individual, or Christ?
 
1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. (Emphasis mine)

Seems pretty simple and starightforward to me.

Christ IS the Truth.
The Church is the Pillar and Bulwark of Truth.

A better term would be “the Pillar, Bulwark, and Teacher of Truth”.

Well, it’s gotta’ be the Church. Afterall, that’s what Sacred Scripture says. 🙂 And Jesus only established one Church, correct?

Christ is the Truth. The Church is his Pillar and Bulwark. The Bible was not around for more than 300 years, and the printing press came much later.

However, the way some people talk, one would think the Bible was a FAX from God.
