What is the proper reverence given to the altar and tabernacle if in different areas of the church?

Our parish is considering moving the tabernacle off to the right side of the church from the center behind the altar (where the tabernacle currently resides). If these changes take place, are we to bow/genuflect before the tabernacle and altar or only the tabernacle? Should the reverence shown be distinctively different? It seems to me it should be different. I’m not sure we should bow before the altar itself, but I could be wrong.

Hi,

Genuflect to the tabernacle and bow to the altar. Or keep the tabernacle in the center and just genuflect.
