What is the punishment for Christians in Islam?

Islam accuses Christians of being polytheists due to the Christian belief in the Trinity, and the Quran teaches all polytheists will go to hell for eternity. Christianity doesn’t believe in polytheism and believe in 3 Gods in one, thus they are monotheists.
 
3 Gods in one? No.

One triune God in the form of 3 persons.

3 Gods would be more of a polytheistic tribunal lol 😋

Christians are subject to special Dhimmi taxes under Islamic law. Further, they were subject to possibly have their sons taken away to be made into janissaries.
 
Islam is not monolithic.
There are peoples in the post-Soviet space where Islam is the state religion, but Christians also enjoy all rights.
In many countries, there is no punishment for Christians, and religions can co-exist and there is no infringement on Christians.
Even in countries such as Iran and Malaysia.
In some States , as has been the case in history , Christians pay special taxes because they are not Muslims.
And there are also States with a militant and extreme confession of Islam where Christians are violated and even killed.
This is happening in some African countries and in some areas of Middle East.
 
When I was a Muslim prior to becoming Catholic, I viewed Christians as worshipping 3 gods. In Islam God has no son, no children, no wife . God was never created, he always existed and will always exist.

Those who do not believe in Allah and do not repent is destined for hell. But Jews and Christians believe in Allah(God) and if they follow their respective prophets teachings (Abraham and Jesus) then they too can enter paradise. In Islam all of the prophets were Muslim.

Now who goes to hell? I would be going to hell because I know about Islam and have believed previously and have become a nonbeliever. I have left the straight path and turned my back on Allah and his messenger who has perfected the religion.
 
The Janissaries were a strictly Ottoman phenomenon, and were disbanded in 1826. There hasn’t been any Janissaries in nearly 200 years.

Yeah I just learned recently that ISIS targets the West because they view all of Western culture as Christians or “cross worshippers”.
