Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and Christian groups come to your door on a Saturday morning. “Have you been saved?” they ask. “Have you found Christ?” others say.

I’ve been thinking of getting a core team together from my church to really nail down on apologetics and, a month before RCIA begins, evangelizing and apologizing door-to-door.

I’m curious though, as Catholics, what is THE question? What can we ask to kick off the conversation? I’m interested in all of the responses this thread receives.

Do YOU belong to the church started by Jesus Christ?
Well thats what you CATHOLICS say around here, so be consistent:shrug:😃

“We’re catholics and we’d like to minister to you in the way that Christ showed us: is there anything you need help with, like a yard project or some cleaning?”

Christ washed his disciples feet. My thoughts are that door to door evangelism would better be served by car washing and other service than with canned scripts

The first question I have always asked JW"s after they have rung my door bell is to give me their interpretation of John 1. That is after I have surrendered my easy chair and love seat to them and after wifey has served them her homemade chocolate chip-pecan cookies and tea.

Be prepared to defend John 1. :hey_bud:

Why would anyone turn away from God, when it makes them miserable?
