What is the sin against the Holy Spirit?

Hi, I know somewhere in the bible it says that the sins commited against the HS is not forgivable. Which sins are these? and is this why when that guy tried to “steal” from the church, Peter said for this you shall die and he did, as well as his wife?

Sorry for not knowing where in the bible and the name of the guy-?I’m really forgetful.
