The current moral heresy coursing through the veins of Modern Western Society states that we cannot know truth because each person carries their perception of truth relative to their past experiences. What ever conclusions the person reaches based on their experiences and perceptions is true only to them, and therefore is relative to everyone.
Oh. Really? “We cannot know truth.” Is that true? If yes, how do you know that?
I’ve wrote this in a blog earlier. How does it pan out? Insights anyone?

“Truth in the mind” is the conformity of the mind to that which is outside the mind. Conformity of the mind to extra-mental reality.

Truth is not something, it is Some Body, and yes we can indeed know Him. His name is Jesus Christ.

Pilate asked **“Quid est veritas?” What is Truth?]
**

Jesus answered** “Est vir qui adest.” It is the man who is here.]**

Note that they are anagrams. [Probably not true, but it makes a good story. ;)] **

If there is no absolute truth then any statement made can be refuted. I am 5’8" tall. That truth can be measured by an accurate measuring device and holds true and accurate for anyone who is measured by it regardless of beliefs. Now whether I am tall or short is relative to other people’s measurements and how I compare to them. In Christianity we hold Jesus as the accurate measuring device (absolute truth) whereby all claims to truth are measured. If there is no absolute truth then there really is no truth at all. There is only the ability to make comparisons and then judge the outcome of those comparisons making none of them "truly"accurate.

We hold Jesus Christ as the standard of Truth becuase He is Truth itself, He is Perfect. There is no imperfection or any lie in Him. We humans need Absolute truth, else our lives would be insanity.

May I quote you on this? I love this quote.

Greetings AlexPetrosPio,

Yes you may. Would you believe that at one point in my life I said and claimed and believed that there was no such thing as Absolute Truth. How powerful God has worked in my life for me to get to this point and to this day to declare that there is absolute truth and I have a relationship with He who is Absolute Truth. It took many bitter years to get to this point, but I am so thankful that I am here.

God Bless.

Easter is proof that you can bury the Truth but it doesn’t stay there…

The truth will set you free. Jesus is the truth and he set us free by dying on the cross for our sins. God bless

Here is the actual quote:

**Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won’t stay there. ~Clarence W. Hall

Greetings Teachccd,

Thanks so much for finding out who wrote that quote.
