Weren’t the most holy saint hard on themselves?
Were the Saints self mortifications being overly scrupulous?
How does one know if they are being overly scrupulous?
If one goes to confession monthly but keeps falling into the same sins again and again what is the cure?
If one feels their sins rob them of peace and can’t beat them even for the pain they cause themselves, let alone offending God is that scrupulosity?
Other threads on scuples here don’t seem to answer these questions for me.
