This isn’t really a competitive sport (although it is fast getting that way) and there isn’t a lot of this on tv but Ilike mountain climbing. I read a lot of mountaineering literature.
Had to vote “Other” – Tie between NFL and NASCAR. (With a smattering of HS football now that my son is in school. He’s not on the team, but it is one of the best in the country )

For me, it’s the floor, my dad and older sister gets the lazyboys. But if I have the chance, I like Nascar (go Dale Jr.), and I like NFL football (go Vikings), and I like to watch the Winter Olympics! (ice skating & hockey)
I say go Dale Jr. because Dale Earnhardt is in Heaven:angel1: (hopefully)
That’s my point of view…
Baseball for me!
I do not have Cable/or satellite so I like to listen to the gaves on the radio.
I personally think it is more exciting because you can picture what is going on using your imagination.
College football all the way (it’s the only sport I watch), my favorite teams being Illinois (my alma mater) and Texas A&M (husband’s alma mater). I-L-L-I-N-I and Gig 'em, Aggies!!
Hockey! We live in “Hockeytown”, how could I vote otherwise? (And I’m sad about the lockout. )
Baseball is a close second. I’ve loved it since I was little and my dad would take me to Tigers games. And hey, the Tigers don’t have the worst record this season!
Go Red Wings. we now have minor league hockey down here, Hidalgo Killer Bees, so far pretty popular, but they are not into rubber chickens and octopus, we will have to educate them.
favorite watching when I control of the l-b and remote (which won’t happen again until that brief hiatus between the superbowl and march madness) Trading Spaces
Take two armchairs, lazyboy recliners, place them just far enough so that the foot rests will just over lap. Have a person in each arm chair rocking. The goal is to get your footrest under your opponents, sort of a reverse thumb wrestle!
I just wish that synchronized skating was broadcast more than two hours per year. It’s the most beautiful and thrilling of the figure skating disciplines.
NCAA football and basketball…pro sports with the inception of free agency, multi million dollar contracts, and athletes that too often are the worst types of role models have destoyed my interest in the pros.
I voted “Other” for Figure Skating. There is a huge depth of incredible talent in this sport in this country. I can’t understand why the networks only show the top 5 or 6 skaters of so few competitions.
