My favorite is the Douay-Rheims Bible Online.
drbo.org/

It has a search engine that works like a concordance. Type in the words and choose between Old Testament, New Testament or both.

It also has additional Catholic links.

There is one called the Navarre, and I saw it at the CatechismClass.com website. There are excellent commentaries and notes from the Church Fathers as well.

Peace,

i’m just now starting to use www.redegg.org - it allows you to compair different translations (including the DR), and it has some pretty neat search functionality. i also use www.biblegateway.com for convenience, but it’s 7 books lite!

i also use the revised fundimentalist version: catholicoutlook.com/rpv.php

RyanL
biblegateway.com has a NASB version and it is not 7 books light.

It has all versions of the Bible, but most importantly the Catholic one, even thought the site is protestant based i think.

thanks whoever that was that posted the link to the DR.

I use the NAB (usccb.org/nab/bible/)) at times. But mostly I will use that and the DR version online. Although at times, I have gotten lost in some of the OT numbering used on the online DR. Not sure if anyone one else has experienced this though. Thanks and God Bless.

This is not the RSV-CE – it’s missing the Deuterocanonicals.

They are there, just labeled wrong and in the wrong place

In addition to the RSV-CE linked above, there is the NAB, this Douay-Rheims, and Latin Vulgate.
Maranatha,Hans
This is a great site! My mom was a Latin teacher, & I just can’t even imagine how she would have loved having the Vulgate to check…I think of her every time I use it…
Of course, since Mom is now in the :yup: Presence of the Author, I don’t think she probably misses having seen it…
