What is your favorite way to pray?

My favorite place to pray is in front of the Blessed Sacrament. It’s so peaceful and God’s presence is so strong.
I love to pray the rosary or the Divine Mercy chaplet with hymns playing quietly in the background. and sometimes I just seek silence.
I love to pray outside in my garden or when i visit Nature’s beautiful sights.
What are your favorite places to pray at? And what is your favorite way to pray?
 
Quietly…in my bedroom. I like to have soft music …no words in the music…but hymnal/meditative type music, while I pray the Chaplet, or the Rosary. I also enjoy praying in churches that are empty…but open for people to stop in and light a candle, etc…where it’s very quiet…with just a few lights on.
 
I read a beautiful book on Iconography and how to pray with icons. The author suggested to form little “islands” of prayer throughout the day. After doing this with perseverance and consistency you will soon have so many little islands that you will have created a continent…or the habit of prayer…continual presence of God.
I frame my day with the Divine Office. In between I pray the Rosary and examination of conscience. I do spiritual reading and meditation on what I have read…trying to internalize the message.
The sheep, the chickens, cats and dog, housework and such shuffle easily in between.🙂
I count my time on this site as my educational reading…it encourages me to research and study my faith:thumbsup:
 
My favorite way to pray is to make my life a prayer, everything I do, think, or say, is united with God.
 
My favourite way to pray used to be the Rosary, but I recently gave away my Rosary beads to someone who needed them more then I do, and haven’t gotton new ones yet.😦 So my favourite way now is probably singing hymns.I know lots of different hymns & love them all, and am a poet of spiritual poetry.My favourite place to pray is anywhere safe and comfortable where I wont be disturbed, bothered or interupted.
