What do you think is the best Arguments for the Existence of God?

My unworthiness, and all the blessings I can count, despite it.

Shorter answer: Faith

That the alternative makes no sense. if a person’s existence comes down to cosmic dust, then life is meaningless. What you do or don’t do in this life, in the big picture, becomes meaningless. How someone can accept that, is beyond me.

Your existence, or human existence in general. Intentionality and intelligence is the antithesis of natural processes. Goal direction may involve natural processes, but not as it’s cause because the nature of their activity is fundamentally different. Ultimately its the existence of meaningful and intelligently directed information that i find to be the most convincing proof of a Creator. You cannot reduce meaningful and intelligently directed information to the nature of objects that do not have intelligent direction in them as a sufficient cause. In other words it makes no rational sense that an intelligent and meaningfully directed effect is ultimately the result of non-intelligent, non-directed, and meaningless activity devoid of intelligent information. Thus it makes no sense to me that intelligent life exists in a reality that is fundamentally nothing more than natural processes. You wouldn’t expect to find a book called Alice in Wonderland in a world of meaningless objects with no intelligent plan behind it.

Therefore the opposite must be true.

There are 2 basic fundamentals which show that God exists: One is the creation of all life. When you study DNA, almost all genetic scientists will tell you that it is a mathematical impossibility for life to form on its own, even with an infinite amount of time. It will never happen by chance. Where does the information in a living cell come from?

The second is the absence of transitional fossils. There should be billions of transitional’s all over the planet, but there is none yet to be found. No evidence has ever been given to show a change from one kind to another kind (not species). Evolution is a farce!

The Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe (there is a really cool 18 minute video on why it could not have been made by humans on YouTube)

The Shroud of Turin

Uncorruptable saints

Also, the Big Bang theory-

“These theories were based on the hypothesis that all the matter in the universe was created in one big bang at a particular time in the remote past."

Only God could have caused this-the universe wouldn’t just randomly create itself all of a sudden…

Many physisists (not sure if I spelled that right!) believe in God.

And God’s own work in my life and in the lives of people I know.

I know this is a lot, I just find this stuff really cool!:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Cosmological argument, ontological argument, argument by design, moral argument, argument by desire, miracles (Fatima, Mary of Guadalupe…) and there is also personal experience with God that every faithful has
