Matthew 24 tells us not to be deceived because many will come claiming to be Our Lord. Basically we won’t need anyone to tell us because when He does come we’re all going to know about it 🙂

Rutherford, what is your point? Are you Catholic as your profile say, or not? Are you just going to keep posting stuff until someone is favorable to your post or something?

I just want your opinion on why there are people who wants to claim that they are really incarnation of Jesus. What is going on in their thoughts that could lead them into this path?

What do I think? I think it’s absolutely amazingly good fortune that he was laid off from his traffic policeman job, since it was only after he lost his job that he realized that he was the messiah. So I guess that he will now raise the dead, walk on water and love humanity SO much that he is very willing to be tortured and die for humanity? Or, in this new version of the greatest story ever told, humanity keeps doing their hard working, back breaking jobs to keep supporting him and his family, and let him continue to travel.
I don’t even want to think of how different things would be for all humanity if he had not lost his job…
Just another con man who had no source of income after losing his job, deceiving people who are gullible.

He’s either mentally ill and really believes he’s Jesus (which is sad) or he knows he’s lying and doesn’t care (which is evil). So it’s either sad or evil

When you live in a remote corner of Siberia, what else is there to do?

If you watched his video, he is a very kind person. Too bad he claim himself to be Jesus.

There are millions of kind people in the world. That does not make them Jesus.

You can be kind and still be insane. You can also appear kind and be incredibly evil.

Hmm… must be influenced by fallen angels or… they are simply con artists.

The term being used for these people in EO is “deceived”. This man is being deceived by the devil who exacerbates this man’s ego and spiritual pride to believe he really is Christ. I know this sounds medieval to many people today and would rather just call him a charlatan. But how do explain a lot of people believe him? They ignore everything their priests say about him and just feel compelled to believe this man.

He needs a lot of prayers to be released from whatever is possessing him to do this.

I don’t think this sounds medieval. That is what the devil wants us to believe.
