What is your understanding; your definition of “TRUTH”?

Truth describes reality and reflects the true nature of reality and on the metaphysical level not on the epistemological level.
 
The truth needs to provide the individual with some form of freedom. If individuals are living in fear then either they don’t have the truth or that truth hasn’t worked it’s way into the individuals inner being.
 
Jesus is the Truth, also the Way and the Life.

For non-Jesus topics, truth is usually the third side of the story somewhere between what A said and what B said.

Truth is revealed objective reality. To the extent that we can discern, perceive it I mean, as human beings. It can be accessed by logic, reason, and emotion, spirituality, prayer.

2 + 2 = 4 is true.
God is love is true.

Truth is all that gives meaning to everything.

Truth is life.

Truth is an avatar of God himself.
 
Not to b funny, per say but it you have “Truth you are set free!!” You can look it up in dictionary, WHAT IS TRUTH.
It is the absence of lies( I’m being superficial here, not by choice. You hit my funny bone) Forgive me.
It is an undisputed fact.
Do you see the girl w red hair? Bad choice! Color blind ppl can’t always discern red. Groan. Anyway, that is the idea. Do you see the Bible. There is a Bible on the table. Do you believe that Jesus is God. An atheist will say, “No”.Did Jesus live? YES! He was written about by Josephus, a Jewish Historian, for Rome. Other Roman documents mention him. He is mentioned of in the Bible. Scripture has Jesus as Son of Man andSon of God.
Now, fact is Jesus lived. Documented in historical writings. Is Jesus God. That is Faith. The writings in the Bible that we accept as Real, defines Jesus as Lord, who Transfigured, was Tortured, Crucified and Ressurected. We believe the writings and statements.
Blessed are those WHO BELIEVE AND HAVE NOT SEEN! Atheists want to see and touch. They challenge our truth.
Truth is seen and touched and factual. Truth is seen and touched and defined by Faith in agreement w the Church.

FATHER HARDON, one of the most esteemed theologians of the 20th Century} taught this about TRUTH:

“Truth is the condition of grace, it is the source of grace, it is the channel of grace, it is the divinely ordained requirement of grace.” ….

Ps.145 Verses 17 to 18 “
[17] The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings. [18] The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

Dictionary Definition of “Truth”
