What kind of present is appropriate to get an adult candidate being confirmed this Easter Vigil? She is a wife and mother and likes angels. She has horrible allergies, so something that would collect dust would be a bad idea.

One of my adult sons is coming Home to the Church this Easter and I am getting him a really nice wooden rosary. Other family members are getting him a Saints medal, wall Crucifix, and RSV-CE Bible.

Gift Certificate to your local Catholic book store or an online store like Catholic Answers, that way she can pick a book she does not have.

A nice silver frame, engraved with the date of her Confirmation, a Rosary, a Medal - all are beautiful gifts.

I got my candidate a beautiful purple rosary instead of the normal 1st communion or confirmation rosary because she loved my purple one. I also got her The Catholic Prayer Book in black leather because she mentioned wanting to know more about the different Catholic Prayers.

And since she likes angels, what about a smaller figurine of St. Michael (one that’s not too big so that it won’t collect much dust) or maybe a medal of St. Michael.
