I’m in the process of starting up a Catholic blog. But naturally, much of my audience will not be specifically Catholic, at first. What’s the best way of going at this? Do I just write as I think of topics? Or should I think about what others would want to read about?

Any advice would be great.

Right now I have four posts, on www.smellysheep.wordpress.com

I would advise to keep it simple, know your material well that you write about and try not to come off as a theologen. If you have comments do not be argumentive or present your views as always the right views, esp. if other denominations chime in. Peace

  1. VERY MUCH PRAYER
  2. FREQUENT reception of the Sacraments; especially Daily MAss if possible and frequent Sacramental Confession
  3. Knowing-well our Catholic Faith; what we believe and WHY we believe and Practice as we do, and having the God granted ability & call to share same with CHARITY & Clarity [FACTS" so that your not just sharing your positions BUT what the RCC Actually Teaches]
  4. Respond to each post as possible
God Bless and Guide you

Free offers like I have below? A repository of printable prayer cards? An app section and link to the Vatican Virtual Tour page? Lots of great content. Good luck!
