so from my understanding, you’re supposed to genuflect to the tabernacle and when you enter and exit the pews, and bbow to the altar if there is no tabernacle

my problem, I never know where the altars in church or the tabernacle since I can’t see them. people sort of try to describe it but that doen’st usually work out too well

and it’s not like I can go explore the sanctuary to figure it out usually

but I certainly don’t want to be disrespectful to God.

so far, I’ve just been genuflecting at the pew. any other suggestions?

What you are doing is fine.
I presume most of the parishioners know you are vision-impaired.
No one, including the priest would expect more.
Be at peace.

yes, I suppose large guide dog does give it away. lol

and you’re right, no one expects more, which is no one bothers to even tell me things like that, I didn’t know everyone else was e even doing that until recently

Right. Which is a clear indicator that it’s not going to impact your salvation, since you are blind.
If it were harmful to your soul, someone, particularly your priest, would have instructed you to do something else or more.
