The problem you may be encountering is that God may be sending more grace, but she may be refusing it. God will send grace to us but not violate our free will.
TBH, I would go secretly to a lawyer, esp if you know of one who specializes in situations where one spouse is from another country that they might move back to. You do not want to find out that she has everything set up and is able to leave in a minute while you are wondering what is happening.
I don’t know if this book is available in the UK, but see if you can find it: it is called Divorce-Busters and has practical strategies that might help. It’s about 20 years old now and is based on cognitive behavior therapy, which is fast and doesn’t go delving into one’s childhood.
If tye emergency arises and your wife is actually walking out the door, ask her to stay for just 6 months foe the sake of your children.
Go and talk with a good priest very honestly about your situation. Maybe your wife has some concerns with the way things are between you and you may be able to address those. OTOH, it may be that she simply wants to go.
