If I have a teacher who might blaspheme God, what do you suggest I do about it?

Thanks

It depends. What did the teacher say?
Nothing, I’m just asking hypothetically. I suppose I don’t want to argue from a position of weakness (“please respect my views since we have a first amendment”) but rather from one of strength (“It’s wrong to say such a thing, so don’t say it”). But how could I say this?

It really depends on what the teacher in question said. If we’re talking about something that’s simply factually wrong/absurd/offensive, you should approach them after class and talk to them one-on-one, pointing out the wrongness of what they said and correcting their misapprehension.

But otherwise? Say an immoral joke?

This is a mateter of prudential judgment. Sometimes the right thing to do is to speak up right then, sometimes to say something privately, and sometimes to say nothing at all.

And please define your terms more precisely. A tasteless joke is not blasphemy.
