These have been very tough years for our country. Millions of our family members, friends and neighbors have lost their jobs in the great recession. Plummeting home values closed out what had already been a lost decade of stagnant wages and rising costs.
gods do not care about human beings any more, they have completely lost confidence in our country.
what should we do?

Pray.
Well, I would say God, plural, cares greatly for the United States. I’m surprised we are still here actually. Divine Mercy for the U.S. Just a lot of house cleaning, soon, White House cleaning :D, lots of people putting life into a healthy perspective with healthy priorities…realizing that we don’t need to be a nation of consumers to be wealthy or happy. 😉

I would say God loves this country and is giving us some more time to repent, but not all are awake, so I would pray for those people especially. 🙂

Hi there,
First of all, as pointed out, it is God, (big G) who cares not gods (little g).
We are His. Our mistake is in believing that our lives do not belong to Him. More prayer, more faith, more bible studies in church, and more trust would help a great deal. Have you tried or are you just venting?
Trust me, I was a Buddhist for 30 years and a I am a recent convert. Pretend you are 7years old and just learning about the bible and God and pray to Him with expectation and love. God’s plan is working and let’s just support and worship Him.
Honestly,l have been around the block, I have studied many religions, and there is only the Holy Trinity in One God. It would take many volumes to support my case, however, you only need one, the Bible.👍

My master Li —the greatest Buddha of the universe told me those words.
I recognize that religions such as Buddhism, Christianity, Catholicism, also Judaism and some other religions in history were upright. But today people are no longer able to use their original human nature and ancient mindset to understand those religions. People in religions brag about themselves, flaunt their credentials to have others believe in them, or even become politicians. Are these religions still upright? I tell you this because I fear that you may be hampered by those religions, which can’t save you.

My master of all masters, Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to come to the truth, to Him and not to others, but He will work through the others to get to you, my friend.

I’m hampered by people who still don’t believe in Jesus Christ.

I’ve suffered my original human nature and ancient mindset for too long, I’m so glad I finally let all that go… now I am free!

When I studied and practiced other religions and ways I was always caught up in my mind and when I thought I was being humble and enlightened I was only worshiping myself through my ego. A miserable exhistence that led to a lot of despair and lack of hope.

I will pray for you that you may truly see.

God Bless You!

Last I checked I still have my original human nature - you had me worried! As Christians, as Catholics, we believe there is only one God and that it is impossible for their to be a multiplicity of gods because then none of them would be God for none would be greater than the other. To answer what you said in the OP I would say we need to spread the Truth; at home, at work, with friends, at church, everywhere. One is probably not too sure of the Truth if they are not sure their faith ‘upright’ as you call it or if they are not able to use their original human nature.

For something so confusing (especially the nature thing) you don’t explain it that much.

In addition, Fr. Egow, I think the greatest thing we can do is to love as Jesus has loved us.

Love is greater than all things in the world. It is only with love that we can truly be Christ-like.

The thing about humanity is that we aren’t simple creatures. The op seems concerned about our lack of ability to do what is good and right. And rightly so!

What sets christianity in general (and catholicism specifically) apart from all other religions is that God has revealed to us that humanity is GOOD in that we are created in His image and likeness, but FALLEN from that perfect goodness via our own sins. This is the only workable explanation for how complex humans are, morally.

But the problems that beset us are not a manifestation of ‘gods’ who no longer care for us. God owes us nothing in this life. Though God the Father loved Jesus infinitely, Jesus still had to suffer horrendously because of OUR sins. Suffering isn’t a sign of God forsaking you. Suffering is the consequence of our sins (communally). We all deserve it and worse than what we get. Once you understand that, no worries can really touch you. Lord, help me understand it!!
