For me, opening a can of olives.

Once I’ve put a generous amount on top of a salad, the rest of that can is in the fridge haunting me.

Interesting. I don’t seem to have that problem. After putting a generous amount on the salad, the can is empty.

Peanut butter M&Ms. I only let myself buy the ‘fun’ size: 16oz. (454gm).

I will add to this list, cradle cap. It doesn’t matter how many pediatricians say it’s harmless, and you don’t have to do anything. Once the sunlight hits that scaly funk, I can’t leave it be and I turn my babies into flaky messes.

Lustful thoughts. I was once a sexual addict. Even though I am no longer addicted, I still experience temptations to go back to pornography and masturbation. I go to a local gym on a regular basis to work out and there are always women working out in skimpy outfits. There are always temptations. It can be difficult to fight off those urges.

Bud Select 55 😦

I hear you. Olives are my kryptonite, heck the entire relish tray is my kryptonite.

Between last night and the night before I ate an entire jar of Bread-n-Butter pickles.

Light beers really do test the self control because they go down like water, not like other beers where you might get full before you ever got drunk. Some labels should warn: “You will feel like you ate a loaf of bread.”

Yes! Someone asked me what was my favorite food at Thanksgiving and relish trays are my enduring answer. I prefer to spend Thanksgiving hiding out on pickle island, the kitchen island where someone had left all the relish trays.

I don’t think I could withstand more than two… They’re too tasteless 😑

So they test your self control in some other capacity? Like controlling the impulse to go buy better beer?

I love Bread 'n Butter pickles!! The best
invention since sweet pickle relish!

Olives too for me sometimes when I crave them (especially the green stuffed and something else). Seedless olives just melt off. But if I have to take the seed out than I am lazy and they last longer.
And sometimes cheese. I like to eat it plain and it’s hard to stop. Especially with cedar cheese.
Pasta arrabiata or other vegan type of pasta. Without the parmesan I feel like I can eat just as much as I like because it’s light. But no… you cannot eat as much as you’d like. 🤤
Russian salad (that I can buy ready made, I am lazy at making this). Also other types of salad that mix potatoes, pickles and mayonnaise (with or without egg).
Tuna. Another temptation of me. Or any ocean fish.
Sour pickles (not the sweet ones with vinegar).
