For some reason, this does not surprise me in the least. What will it take for us to get our heads out of the sand? Then will come the inevitable clash between freedom of religion and national security.

Judging from the adverts at the bottom of the article, this could be a website with an ax to grind, which could, in turn, bring up questions about the veracity of the article.
On the other hand, speaking as one with some experience in Middle Eastern culture and politics, there are times when some of them do say one thing when they are talking to us and for our consumption, and something else altogether when they are talking to each other. As evidence, one need look no further than a comparison between Yasser Arafat’s pronouncements for Western consumption and his inflammatory statements to his own people.
