what should a catholic bring up in/start conversation when with young non-believers who are caught up in worldy talk and matters

Evidences for the resurrection of Jesus.
That will lead you to reasons to believe that the Bible is a trustworthy record of events.
That will lead you to reasons to believe that there is a God – and here you can talk about your relationship with God.

Your relationship with God is the best evangelism that there is.

The Classical argument for the Catholic Church is threefold:
  1. Prove that an all-powerful omnipotent being exists.
  2. Prove that being is the God of the Testament, and that Jesus Christ is His son.
  3. Prove that the Catholic Church is the True Church founded by Christ himself, and therefore is best suited to worship him.
It may be hard, but you’re on the right website if you need help or explanation, whether through articles or on the forum.
