Hello,
My wife and I chose Godparents, maybe not fully understanding their responsibilities and out of not wanting to offend anybody.
My wife’s three sisters are all Catholic, but not very strong, my brother, and nephew are not following being Catholic to the letter either, did we make a mistake? I’m not saying I’m perfect, but where do I go with this? We are doing our best to attend Mass and follow our Catholic faith, and we teach our children. But, since we chose “loose” Catholics as Godparents, I regret if something happens to us will they get the proper guidance they need?
