Just like the title says, what should I do on the Sabbath aside from the given which is going to church. It is supposed to be a day of rest and worship, which I assume means not putting off doing homework for Sunday. But what are some other things I should do?

it’s awesome to think that the very God that created us has carved out a day of the week just for us. Make time to worship daily and cutivate an attitude of prayer that you can maintain everyday. But make the Sabbath special. All those common things you can do the rest of the week lay aside. Go to your church and enjoy corporate worship and fellowship. Get with friends and get out into God’s creation and enjoy what you see that He has made and given you dominion over. Bring your priest or pastor a loaf of homemade bread or something you fixed. Visit the sick or elderly. Residents in nursing homes love visits from people. If you like to sing and can play a guitar they really love that! James says pure and undefiled religion is to visit the widows and orphans. We always try to have a meal with folks from church on Sabbath. The dishes just have to wait til after sundown! Sabbath is a blessing; by all means take advantage of it.

Thanks you so much for your suggestions! This really helps! God bless!
