What to do with necklace and crucifix? Proper disposal?

Hi,

I recently purchased a church building (former sanctuary) and a small chapel. I am converting them into venues for a business venture. Both buildings were properly “let go” by the Archdiocese. I found beaded necklace with a crucifix and medal of Mary among some bricks and also a wall crucifix. What is the appropriate /respectful way to dispose of them? Is it better to do that or give it to someone like another parish? I don’t know what to do.

Take the items to he nearest Catholic church office and leave them with the staff they will know what to do.

Agreed. I would certainly not just trash them. If they’re blessed, they should be given to someone that would use them. Any Catholic Church, or a practicing Catholic, could take them and find them a new home.
