Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with older issues of Lay Witness and This Rock. I have a couple of years’ worth and hate to just throw them out.

You might consider leaving an issue in the waiting room (after removing the address label of course ) the next time you go to the doctor or take your car in for an oil change. I know that was what really helped me start my journey to become Catholic.
I had been hearing the call and had done some research and searching online and in my local library but I knew what I really needed to do was visit a Catholic book store. For some reason I had convinced myself a big “P” would appear on my forehead as soon as I walked in the door and they would know I “didn’t belong”, so I kept chickening out.
One day I saw a 2-3 year-old copy of the Magnificat in a waiting room. I looked through it and it was the little boost of courage I needed, as well as the great big sign that this was what God wanted me to do. I went to the Catholic bookstore two blocks away and when the owner asked if he could help me I told him I was looking for books on conversion.
I still have that issue and every time I see it I thank God for the person who put it in that waiting room.
