What to wear to an ordination

I am going to an ordination to the Transitional Diaconate tomorrow and I dont know what i should wear. is this like Sunday Mass should I wear a full suit or is it less formal.

Seeing as it is an ordination–a very big step in someone’s life–I’d dress in a suit and tie, unless the local culture demanded something else equivalent.

I would wear a suit. An ordination is a big big event and should be treated as such by all attending. I have had the honor of going to several in my life. They are really nice and in a way quite awe inspiring.

A suit or even nice slacks and a sports coat would work…It is a milestone in this mans life and should be given the proper respect of the importance it signifies
