What vice is this please?

Hello.

I prayed to the blessed virgin the other day to ask for guidance on my next vice to work on. I got back (in faith) that I have an insatiable desire to be right in every conversation, no matter what the subject is. I simply cannot let a discussion go without me wanting to comment on it and be right. I used to think it was a virtue, my desire to talk the truth but I see it differently now. Is this pride or something else?

Try practicing silence. Listen more and speak less. Pray for discernment to know when speaking is necessary and when it is not, because it will do more harm than good.
