What will the resurrection of the dead be like?

I always imagine God gathering all of the world into huge rows in a heavenly place and judging all of us one by one. I know it probably will not happen like that. What will it exactly be like? Will we experience time differently as we are being judged? And what will life be like after the resurrection for the righteous?
 
Ive wondered the same thing many times, I imagine it like a courtroom, and each person takes their turn before God, but Im not sure if you are talking about that or the event where all the bodies of everyone who has ever lived will suddenly be walking on the earth again?

That is also something I wonder about a lot!! Will they interact with living people, how will the damned ones act? Years ago, I used to imagine a ‘return of the living dead’ scenario, but I dont think glorified bodies are going to be attacking living people now!
 
The key is, glorified bodies!

I don’t think it will be a matter of people stumbling out of suddenly surfaced coffins and shambling around nekkid wondering what happened. Nor will there be endless rows of human bodies standing around waiting to be judged.

It will be more like the explosion scene in “The Day After” in reverse: light will fill the sky, dust and bones will become bodies; judgement will occur instantly; luminous bodies will inhale and begin walking up into Heaven.

Meanwhile, those who are negatively judged (who rise from death but **not **as glorified or spiritual bodies) will descend unseen into punishment.
