Hello everyone,
A thought often occurs to me, apart from worshipping God, just what will we do for all eternity in Heaven, (assuming we deserve to be there)?.🤷:D,

Thanks in advance for any replies,
God bless,
Mick. 👍

About 15 years ago, I heard a talk given by a hospice chaplin. If I remember correctly, she was born and raised Catholic but was not practicing. She was never impressed with the stories of heaven thinking how boring it would be to spend eternity singing in some choir.

She wed and had a couple of children. Then she became ill and died. She had a near-death experience. She said she went to a beautiful place and, after a time, was told she can stay or return. She didn’t want to return but remembered her husband and children and immediately was put back in her body.

Something had to have happened because this non practicing person immediately became interested in religion and eventually became a chaplin. She added that she cannot wait to go back and do exactly what she thought before her NDE would be boring…to praise God for eternity.

These two books are excellent for a deeper understanding (as we can understand this side of Heaven):

Everything You Every Wanted to Know About Heaven, Peter Kreeft

Grace and Glory, E. L. Mascall (a superb little book!)

We know that we will have bodies in heaven, so it must be a physical place. This earth is so beautiful, but God can do much, much better. It will be so good to just be in God’s presence that we can’t imagine it now. Perhaps there will be new things we are yet to encounter, like new dimentions.

God bless.
