Once again, you’re way off. Listen to StTommyMore. And please study the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Direct abortion is NEVER a moral option. Yet this is what you advocated in the rape scenario.StTommyMore, So I just want to be sure on this, your all for mothers dying from ectopic pregnancies and the like just to see if their is a miracle and the baby is able to develop in the tube. Please tell me what other genuine option there is besides terminating the pregnancy.
Nobody want to see the innocent die, but sometimes there are numeorus victims and sometimes some victims have to come before other victims.
Now you try to change the situation to an ectopic pregnancy. This is totally different from rape. A doctor is permitted to try to save the mother’s life, but the loss of the baby is an INDIRECT and undersired effect. Abortion is a DIRECT killing. That is the difference. Please don’t be one of those who mistaken claim that the ends justify the means.
Also, your last statement is most chilling: if you really think that’s true (“some victims have to come before other victims”), then the next question would obviously be, who gets to decide which “victims” come first? You? A doctor? We saw this exact mistake foisted upon our country in January of 1973 when the Supreme Court arbitrarily decided that some “victims” (babies) have lesser rights than others (women). Dangerous statement, wouldn’t you agree?
