What you guys think of St Nilus and his prophecy?

Y’know, that’s actually only the translation of the recto side of the fragment. The verso side is in a much worse condition and is still being deciphered. Who knows what secrets it may contain!?
What gets me though is Iahoou. Aside from this prophecy, there is no other instance of the word at all in Greek and Latin literature!

Indeed, the prophecy is even more productive than we thought! It even foretold the composition of Gulliver’s Travels!

I actually happen to have an 1806 glossary compiled by Alexandre Dumass oncle that I picked up at an old hidden bookstore in San Seriffe. This is a completely true fact. According to Dumass, the word is in Linear B and means to hang laxly or loll. In context, therefore, I would surmise that Column 10 refers either to the sound produced by one with lolling tongue, or possibly to the sound “loll” itself.

From what I have culled, the sound loll itself was often associated with felines. So could St. Paulus have been comparing the people with cats?

(I know! St. Paulus predicted Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical! )

Another linguistic puzzle is Column 13’s Micro sopta. It seems to be transliterated Greek, but sopta is another hapax legomenon. I tend to think the phrase has something to do with entrances of cities (the ‘gates’ of Column 9?)

This is a good reason to put little faith into them but I have a better one.

God said that we will not know the time or day or season. So if He said we will not know then we will not know no matter how many “prophecies” are found to say otherwise. God does not lie.

I think these “prophecies” gain traction because people want to hear from God and they need a crutch to help them along in their faith.

Just look at all the conspiricy theories out there. JFK, 9/11, the Moon Landing, there are enough of those with out facts that it is not surprising that people of faith would create their own.
