Whatever happened to the "Diocese Report"?

Up until about two years ago, I used to read the Diocese Report Catholic news internet portal on a daily basis. It was launched by Brian Barcaro.

I noticed that the website, although still active, hasn’t been updated since early 2003. Does anyone know whatever happened to the site, or the people running it?
