The earth cannot be the centre of the universe because parts of the earth are moving relative to one another: continental drift, earthquakes and similar.

At most one one part of the earth can be at the centre, and that only for a limited time until it moves.

Alternatively, you could use Borges’ “Infinite sphere whose centre is everywhere and circumference nowhere.” In that case each of us is always at the centre of the universe.
