Any suggestions? Looking for something preferably collecting meditations by a saint.

How about the Psalms? I would also recommend the practice of lectio divina using the readings of that day’s liturgy in your bible. Read, meditate, speak your thoughts to Our Lord and then be silent and listen with your heart. Being busy with prayers can be a terrible block to real communication with him.🙂

If you want something for Adoration of the Blesed Sacrament, I would simply choose some readings from the Bible that you like, or there is a book called, THE IMITATION OF CHRIST, by Thomas A Kempis.

Really, during the adoration of Chirst, your focus should be on Christ since he is visibly present. This is why when we have adoration, it is for the purpose of seeing the Host exposed and not in the tabernacle.

Or just sit before the Blessed Sacrament and talk to God ot listen to Him.

There is an excellent book called, Jesus Christ, The Holy One of God, by Raniero Cantalamessa.

You could also meditate on Christ’s Passion and Resurrection taken from the Bible.

In my own opinion, I would just sit and adore the Blessed Sacrament.

"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior" Luke 1:46

How about “Fifteen Minutes before the Blessed Sacrament”?
The house copy is not within reach right now but readers may correct me. I believe it was written by St. A. Ligouri.

Don’t forget the Raccolta.

I suggest Visits to the Blessed Sacrament by St. Liguori 🙂
it’s specifically for Adoration, and it’s basically …meditations and prayers by a Saint just like you described

You can buy it for very cheap - it’s a small book
amazon.com/Visits-Blessed-Sacrament-Virgin-Mary/dp/0895556677
or read it online:
catholictradition.org/Eucharist/blessed-sacrament.htm

God bless!
I love that one and also “Praying in the Presence of Our Lord” Fr. Benedict Groeschel. Note: most of the prayers aren’t his original works but some are.

I use the Catholic book of prayers in addition to praying the Psalms from the Douay-Rheims Challoner text

My purse and Adoration book - small enough to fit in my purse and good for Adoration and while waiting in long lines - is a Pocket Book of writings taken from St. Catherine’s “Dialogue”.

"Praying in the Presence of Our Lord With the Saints" by father Benedict Groeschel.
It has wonderful prayers and meditations.
