With the pope receiving a new ipod I thought it would be fun for people say what they have on their MP3 player.

I have a inexpensive mp3 player (256MB) and use it mostly for shows from the EWTN audio library. Right now I have on it
  • Carpenter’s Shop episodes
  • Mother Angelica’s rosary
  • Father Dubay’s series on St John of the Cross
  • Catholic History
I don’t use it for music much but sometimes for the radio

My 40 GB RCA Lyra:

It has a good week’s worth of music (no jokoe, I could play music for a week straight and it wouldn’t repeat a song). Too bad it is a piece of junk and broke.

Hairspray, Chicago, Suessical, Jesus Christ Superstar, Wicked the Musical, Phantom of the Opera & Black Eyed Peas’ Monkey Business. Obviously I like Musicals… and that funky song “Whatcha gonna do with all that junk… all that junk inside that trunk…?” :dancing:

Wait, you mean the one from the iPod commercial? I really really want that song and I can’t find it anywhere.

Right now I am looking for Audio Books that I can load on my iPod. Mainly I am looking for some of the Spiritual Classics like “Dark Night of the Soul”, but have not found much in that area.

My 4 gig mini is full up to capacity with everything from classical to death metal. Putting it on shuffle songs leads to some interesting transitions. My 30 gig 4G iPod has been retired from the music playing world, to act as an external hard drive. It is almost full with movies and T.V. shows.

Yours in Christ,

Well I used to have my 20gb iPod filled to capacity, but it messes up every couple of days now and needs to be restored so it takes too long to get everything back on  . I just make a new playlist of what I feel like listening to each time it breaks.

I have a 128Mn mp3 player, but I mostly only use it at school and on the bus journey on the way home (about 45-60 mins) and so the 30-35 songs it hold is more than enough for me!

At the moment I have:

Carrie Underwood :dancing:
Martina McBride
Franz Ferdinand
Snow Patrol
Texas
KT Tunstall
Corinne Bailey Rae
Relient K
Alison Krauss
Heart
The Dixie Chicks
Kelly Clarkson
Black Eyed Peas…

Quite a variety! Country, rock, pop…

I have a black 30 gig video ipod. Couldn’t tell you how many days worth of music I have on it, because I don’t have it with me right now.

After being advised to check out the Catholic Answers Live radio show, I’ve now got the podcasts on my iPod, I tend to get a bit bored of my music after a while, so it’s really good to listen to the show when I go on my walk each day.

Travel songs. Oldies. Country.

I just made a trip back home. 14 hours one way. So I was in the car for a long time each way.

I have a new transmitter that plays my MP3 on the car radio. It was great in those dead spots on the way.
