Hi,
Hey, there’s A LOT odd about me. Not well known, but I’m actually a Canthrips from Olanole. *reference: Children of the Lens, By Doc Smith.

Blessings,
Stephie

Well then, this wallpaper might work if you ever find the phone again that you never had. Just think back to where you never had it last and it’s sure to be not very far.

Here is a little drawing I made (from memory as you can probably guess because I haven’t got the trees quite right) last time I was there.

wait, wait that’s not the right drawing, oh well. I shall look for it in my library next time I can find the door. be patient.

My higher faculties seems to be whispering there is a universal theme here with you, Clare. hmmm

I’m not going to ask any questions about bed sheets, curtains, or tissue paper.

(happy now?)

Hmmm. Is that a real gingerbread house? Perhaps next week I’ll be hungry, and it will taste good .

Blessings,
Stephie

Indeed, it is. But I cannot tell you on which planet you can find it. The tourists are always coming for their holidays and eating the villagers out of house and home. Continual rebuilding gets to be very costly, not to mention a nuisance. Some of the homeowners have unfortunately developed some highly antisocial forms of behavior that need to be dealt with before we can even think of allowing even small parties to visit by day, not to mention for overnight lodging.

Here is my picture that I’ve had for awhile on my smarty.

I love snoopy as well as many other of what grown-up call imaginary persons. It’s a gentle and peaceful them. I like the color scheme and it goes just right with the “buttons” and their layout on my screen. I’m very particular about such things generally speaking.

Schnitzel wurst! I did it again.

Our Lady of Guadalupe has long been my favorite, and this is a photo I took of an image that I have of her. The image is absolutely beautiful, this photo doesn’t do it justice.

You know, as a senior citizen who can remember party lines and telephone numbers like Murray Hill 7 -245, please pardon me while I laugh till I cry at the title of this thread. Phones have wallpaper??, what 's next, milk that crunches when you chew it???

It’s just a picture that appears on the screen when your phone screen is otherwise not being used for something. Hmmm… Maybe like a necktie or piece of stationary. I’m sure someone can think of f a better analogy. Oh. Like a picture you might have in your wallet. Photos of loved ones are popular ‘wallpapers’.

Ahhh. That reminds me. Back in the '60’s, I decorated my “princess phone”, one of those fancy ones with the light in the dial, with wallpaper to match the bedroom by gluing it to the back of the handset. Does that count as the very first phone wallpaper?

For a phone screen today, I have an answering machine.

@joeybaggz milk that crunches? Aren’t they called “Whoppers”?

Youve alway got a secret play Stephie . I would never play chess with you.

Indeed, you have trumped us all.

Oh, I don’t know about that. Since I peeled a very inconspicuous corner of the wall to get the piece for the phone, my mom was not amused.

Blessings,
Stephie

And I thought it was such a great question, too. hmmm…maybe it just hasn’t hit critical mass yet.

Too personal? Not interesting? Better topics in Casual Discussion, I suppose? hmmmm

Stephie, you could at least go out and get a smart phone just to keep me from falling into a CAF induced dysphoria that may well last up to 3 hours. Hard to say, really.

Well. How about a compromise…since I have no desire whatever of getting a cell phone, I’ll tell you what my wallpaper would be… it would likely be the only wallpaper I ever put on my desktop computers. That is a schematic diagram of one of my vacuum tube amplifier designs. Choice is likely to come down to two: my D3a based L-R phono preamp, or my 813 Matrix power amp,

Now do you believe I’m a Canthrips from Olanole?

Hee hee hee.

Pax Vobiscum,
Stephie

My lock screen is the sanctuary of my parish and my wallpaper is the interior of St. Peter’s Basilica’s dome (same picture as my user card here at CAF).

Before you think I am super holy, a few weeks ago my lock screen photo was from the Legend of Zelda. 😊
