The Book of the Prophet Isaiah.

You can add To Know Christ by Frank Sheed to that list.

I put “Other” since, for me, it is a tie between Fulton Sheen’s “Life of Christ” (a great read for Lent, by the way), and “To Know Christ Jesus” by Frank Sheed.

I forgot to add to my poll Daniel-Rops superb ‘Jesus and His Times.’

Transformation in Christ” by Dietrich Von Hildebrand

Journeybread for the Shadowlands” by Pamela E. J. Jackson

I’m reading “Life of Christ,” and I will start “To Know Christ Jesus” when I am finished with that. From what I know, both are great books. I try to read a little about Christ each day from them in addition to Bible reading.

apparently your name needs to have ‘shee’ in it somewhere for you to produce a great book on Jesus. 🙂
