Whats the difference between the Ignatius Study Bibles and Navarre

i saw that there is the Ignatius Study Bibles that are broken down into individual books with commentary. then i saw the Navarre Bibles. Both are the RSV-CE versions. is it the same Bible?

i made my conformation, went through religion class. im reading the NAB now and i feel there is barely any power behind the words. its a nice book, it is the word of God, that i am not arguing. but i prefer a more old school text.
 
They are both great Bible Studies!

The Ignatius, is currently available only in the New Testament, although I understand the plan on putting out books on the Old Testament.

In a nutshell, The Navarre tends to concentrate on commentary, especially some of the Church Fathers commentary. The Ignatius gives some good explanations on what individual words mean as well as Catholic Themes found in the Scriptures.

There are three other tools you may want to look at:
a) Agape Bible Study has some very good commentary online. And its free, too!
b) Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture is a series of commentaries that have just began. There are 4 books out right now, with two books being released every three months.
c) St. Irenaeus Ministries has some good podcasts on various books of the bible.
