three nights ago ,my dear young sister passed away from cancer.when she placed under hospice care ,her MDs told her husband and parents in law that she may die in 2-3 days.it didnt happen .she lived longer for over a week ,and during those days ,my b-i-l and her m-i-l were alternately doing vigil at the hospice facility.about an hour, after her demise ,my b-i-l called and told me , that he spoke to my sister and told her ,that if she is ready to go ,then she should go ,as he and my nephew will be okay .just few minutes after that ,she took her last breath.i guessed he was tired of ‘waiting’ .im not happy of what he did .was it okay for him to say those words ??? im deeply hurt ,as i was going to visit her next week ,thinking that she would still be alive at that time.now ,i will fly to see her for memorial service.i dont know ,but while she was still on palliative care,he was already calling concerned individuals about what my sister left her e.g. stocks ,life insurance etc…do you all think ,im overreacting? my sister was very secretive, she even hid her disease from us ,as she didnt want us to worry. the last time ,i spent time with them ,before she got ill ,my nephew was cold to her mother .he used to be very close .b-i-l told me recently that my sister was the 3rd woman in his life ,who passed away at his young age of early 40’s. further narrated that he will not remarry anymore.
