When do people in RCIA make their first confession?

When does someone in RCIA go to thier first confession. Does one usually wait until after the Easter ceremony? Or can one go anytime after the Rite of Sending?
 
Dear C,

It depends. If your have never been baptized before, then go to Confession within a month after your baptism unless you should sin seriously and need to go sooner. If you are already baptized, then you need to go to Confession BEFORE you are received into the Church.
