When does denying oneself medical treatment become suicide?

Or does it ever?

What about:

 not taking cancer treatments because of the painful side effects?

 stopping cancer treatments because of painful side effects?

Are we supposed to take/not take treatments and offer up our sufferings?

I know the Church says we don’t have to use “extraordinary means” but where does one draw the line? How does one decide which way to go.

Have you read the Catechism of the Catholic Church?

I could just quote paragraph 2276 here, but quoting the Catechism is like quoting scripture… just posting a single paragraph removes the context from the statement.
