I was listening to a discussion recently where a Muslim was saying that no matter what a Muslim does, whether it is not praying five times a day or committing horendous crimes, as long as he still acknowledges his faith in God and that Muhammad was his prophet, he is still a Muslim. That got me thinking about Christians. When does a Christian cease to be Christian? Thanks.

Christians follow Jesus Christ. Follow something or someone else and fall into folly.

Baptism puts an eternal seal on a soul.
One a baptised Catholic always a Catholic, lapsed or practising, because of Baptism.

God judges justly and not unfairly. once a person is baptised using the tritarian formula they become son/ daughter of God. upon knowingly forsaking God they cease to be Christian but will be judged as such.
forsaking being defined as a denial of God.

SCARRY isn’t it:eek:

The first time that one denies that Jesus is both God and the son of Mary; such a person is in denial of the most basic of Christian beliefs and NOT a Christian.

God Bless,
Pat
