When is divorce ok?

I have found myself, separated from my husband and need to know how to ask my pastor for counceling. Most catholics I have in my life are encouraging divorce. I believe they feel they are supporting me. I have begun to regret confiding in them. I do not know how to approach my priest, so as to recieve better advise.
