When is the Sabbath?

I have recently been in a lengthy discourse with a non-catholic regarding the sabbath. This person told me that sunset Saturday through sunset Sunday is the biblical sabbath.

I try to respect a person’s faith practices if I am aware of them and not conduct business (which is how we met) during that time. I mentioned that I observe all day Sunday. This got me a three page email on not being biblical and not knowing my bible.

Let me say that I became active in my church once again three years ago and I take the teachings of the Church very seriously.

I just don’t know how to answer or if I should try to answer. I know I will be buried in words every time.

There are other seventh-day groups, but the most prominent are the Seventh-Day Adventists.
