did he attend st bens or notre dame by change

I will be at st bens next year šŸ™‚ hopefully, and probably

We had one ordained today and it was truly a beautiful and joyous event.

Our ordinations were last weekā€¦I believe. I did not attend because, frankly, I didnā€™t know they were happening. Also, trying to find parking in Boston is near impossible.

However, I know that we had 6 ordinations this year. Thatā€™s double from last yearā€¦hopefully we can double again šŸ™‚

In our deep southern archdiocese, two men will be ordained on June 11, two more next year, with quite a number coming along. There were four ordinations last year.

We have a pretty significant number of seminarians here, given the fact that itā€™s not a large archdiocese, and is in the heart of Southern Baptist country. Many have come through our local Catholic school system and the Catholic high school here; the Vocations Director is very proactive and has apparently done a great job.

Our deaconate ordination was last night (2 transitional deacons), and our priestly was at the begining of the month (2 new priests). It was a joyous occasion.

I was on the ordination of a transitory deacon for the St John Cantius Fathers. He will be priest soon.

The Archdiocese of Chicago ordained 10 men to presbyterate, 4 from Illinois, 2 from Mexico, 2 from Tanzania, 1 from Kenya and one from Poland.

Archdiocese of Baltimore: Priesthood Ordination, Friday, June 24. Only one priest comng in. I will not be attending

The ordinations here will be on 6/18. Four will be ordained. My husband and I are going to attend. One of the young men was at our parish for a summer and we got to be friends. We feel very blessed because there are more young men right behind them. :signofcross:

We have one priest being ordained this year, & yes I am going.
I love the Ordination Mass! šŸ˜ƒ
And we have about 8 or 9 in various stages of formation.

Our soon-to-be priest is pretty ā€œnon-traditionalā€ though,
as he is a married, father of 5, former Protestant minister,
whose ā€œhome parishā€ is the most orthodox parish in the diocese.

Ours was last Saturday - two new priests for the Diocese. And I served because Iā€™ve been accepted to be a seminarian myself in the fall! It was quite beautiful. I was one of the candle-bearers and main servers. Unfortunately most of us wore albs but the two senior-most seminarians have cassock and surplice and wore them.

I also had the opportunity to serve at the First Mass of one of the new priests. Thanks be to God!

We do not have a diaconate ordination this summer, so we will not have a priesthood ordination next year, unfortunately. But, Lord willing, we will have a huge diaconate ordination next year - 2 transitional deacons, and 20-some permanent deacons.

Ours are in June. I think we have 4. I have been to quite a number of ordinations because I sang in the choir. I havenā€™t been to one in a few years, but our diocesan TV broadcasts it live so I usually watch it on TV. They also repeat it later in the evening if I miss it.

June 11, and I will most definitely be going! I will be serving at the Altar!

Ours was a week ago, 5 men from here ordained, 1 from South Korea who will serve us for a few years and then return to his home country. It was the first Iā€™ve been to and very beautiful.

Our is on June 11th, and yes, Iā€™ll be going.

We have two men from our parish ordained this year. One will be ordained on June 11th for the Archdiocese of Detroit, and another was ordained a few weeks ago in Africa as a missionary priest.

That will make 11 men from our parish ordained within the last 8 years šŸ˜ƒ
